GOVRAX and Turkeys for Tomorrow Form Partnership to Advance Conservation and Public Land Management

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
March 31, 2025 — GOVRAX, an innovator in Government Recreation Access technology, and Turkeys for Tomorrow (TFT) have announced a new partnership aimed at improving how agencies understand and manage the relationship between public use and conservation on public lands.
This partnership brings together TFT’s biological expertise and conservation insight with GOVRAX’s platform, which helps agencies better understand how the public engages with outdoor spaces. The collaboration will support agencies in making more informed decisions that balance recreation, habitat protection, and wildlife management.
“GOVRAX was designed to give agencies real-time, actionable information about how people are using public lands,” said Justin Neal, CEO of GOVRAX. “Partnering with TFT ensures that we are grounding that information in sound biological principles, so agencies can make decisions that serve both people and the resource.”
TFT, known for its leadership in wild turkey conservation and habitat management, will serve as a biology advisory partner to GOVRAX. The organization will provide expertise to help align public-use data with conservation priorities, ensuring that the platform not only tracks recreation patterns but also supports the protection of wildlife and habitat across landscapes.
“We are excited to partner with GOVRAX to support agencies and managers who are facing increasingly complex challenges,” said Jason Lupardus, CEO of Turkeys for Tomorrow. “This collaboration helps put meaningful information into the hands of those responsible for balancing recreation and conservation. When agencies have a clearer understanding of how recreation and habitat interact, they can make more effective and timely decisions.”
As part of the partnership, Taylor Cassat, Chief Operating Officer at GOVRAX, will work closely with TFT’s science and conservation teams to align technology development with the practical needs of agency field staff, planners, and decision-makers.
“This collaboration strengthens what we are building at GOVRAX,” said Cassat. “TFT helps us ensure the insights we provide are not just data points, but practical information that can help agencies make meaningful adjustments in how they manage both recreation and conservation.”
GOVRAX and TFT are working together to support agencies as they address the growing demands placed on public lands and the natural resources they protect. Both organizations share a common commitment to improving stewardship through better information and stronger partnerships.
